The project bid came in $85,000 under budget and will include a contribution of $25,000 from the District's local builders currently building in the Sendero Springs area. The approved design of the pavilion was modeled after the structure in Fern Bluff MUD's Olsen Meadows Park which is located adjacent to the District's Creekside Park and Pool. The Sendero Springs pavilion project is coordinated in conjunction with the District's Parks and Recreation Master Plan update for which community residents will be asked to provide feedback and recommendations to the Board of Directors for additional park projects to be considered over the next ten years. The Brushy Creek Board of Directors wish to thank the District Staff and residents for their participation on the District's Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. The Board of Directors express their gratitude to the project's financial partners for their continued efforts and support in making this project a reality. -New US Mail Box We now have a US Postal Service Drop Box at the Brushy Creek Community Center. It is located next to the drop box for water bills. A special thanks goes out to Congressman Carter and his staff as well as Ms. Julie Kruger from the US Postal Service for aiding in the installation of the drop box for the convenience of our district residents. | |
