Rebecca Boatright Tullos was born in Austin, Texas and has lived in the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility district since July 1992 when she and her husband James moved into their first home shortly after marriage. Rebecca graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting in 1987, and later was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Her career experiences have included serving as the first "COBRA Coordinator" for the State of Texas, serving as a bank auditor, working in public accounting performing both audit and tax work, and serving as Assistant Controller and later Chief Financial Officer for a non-profit corporation. Rebecca has been an active volunteer in many community and charitable organizations including previous service as a Brushy Creek MUD Director from 1998-2000 and most recently as chairperson of the District's Parks and Recreation Citizens Advisory Committee for over five years and the District's Indoor Facility Committee. Rebecca and James have two wonderful children, Morgan and Jake, and enjoy keeping up with them and watching them develop into two terrific little Brushy Creek citizens. |

Russ Shermer - Secretary Place 2 - Term: May 2004 - May 2008 ex-officio - Technology Committee - Primary place2@bcmud.org
Russ Shermer, PhD Russ received his PhD on computational physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1991. He completed a two-year post-doctoral tenure at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Maryland and has spent the last fourteen years in software development in the private sector. Russ has developed automated software testing solutions for fifteen Fortune 1000 companies, has spoken at more than a dozen QA conferences and now leads the test automation effort at Dell. Russ met his wife Jill while training for marathons. He has run ten (but only half as many as his wife). They moved to Austin in 2004 with their daughter Alia who swims with the Marlins. In his non-existant spare time, Russ mountain bikes, plays guitar and builds low-wattage tube guitar amplifiers.

 Paul J. Tisch - President ex-officio - Water-Wastewater Alternate Place 3 Term: May 2006 - May 2010 place3@bcmud.org Director Tisch and his family have been residents of Brushy Creek, living in Cat Hollow, since the spring of 2000. He and his wife Debbie have two children, Julia and P.J. Director Tisch, class of 1989, graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. degree in Industrial Distribution. Over the past 13 years, Director Tisch has worked in the field of industrial water treatment, and is currently employed by a Texas based chemical company. He has been involved in the community since 2002, serving on the Cat Hollow HOA board, along with assignments to the MUD's water and waste water and parks and recreation committees. Currently, Director Tisch serves as Board President and ex-officio to the Brushy Creek Community Center Advisory Committee (CCAC). An avid Aggie sports fan, Director Tisch and his family can be found enjoying Aggie sporting events throughout the year.

 Bob Grahl - Assistant Treasurer - Assistant Secretary ex-officio - CCAC- Primary Technology Committee - Alternate Parks Committee - Alternate Place 4 - Term: May 2004 - May 2008 place4@bcmud.org Bob was appointed to the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District Board of Directors in August of 2007. He and his wife, Maria, daughter, Allison and son Collin have been residents of the District since 1998. Bob served as Secretary and Chair of the Parks Committee and currently Chairs The Meadows of Brushy Creek Homeowners Association. Bob has been active in Scouting for over 20 years. He currently serves on the Northwest Swim Circuit Board of Directors, Brushy Creek Marlins Swim Team Board of Directors, and served as their President from 2004 – 2006. He also served as president of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 88 in Maryland. His professional career includes 20 years in county government in law enforcement and education. He was also a licensed real estate appraiser in Texas, a certified paramedic, and a documentary filmmaker. Bob held technical management positions at Dell and Motorola Semiconductor. He currently provides computer network consulting services for medical, dental, and professional businesses in the Austin area. My vision for Brushy Creek I believe we have a unique opportunity in the coming years to expand our commercial tax base, reduce our property tax rate and raise the quality of life that is unique to Brushy Creek. We have many treasures in our community; including a state of the art water treatment facility, spacious parks and pools and a community center that is second to none. Citizen involvement is essential to our continued success. I am thrilled to live in this wonderful community and am honored to serve on it’s Board of Directors. |

 Cristine A. Yackle - Vice-president ex-officio - Water/Wastewater Committee - Primary Place 5 - Term: May 2006 - May 2010 place5@bcmud.org
Cris was born in Waco, Tx. She grew up in Kansas and lived in New Jersey and Missouri before moving to Brushy Creek in 1995. She and her husband Cliff have one son Keith, a senior at McNeil High School. She is honored to have served as a Brushy Creek MUD Director since May of 2002. In addition to her work with Brushy Creek MUD Cris has been a member of the Brushy Creek Women's Association since its inception. She was on the board of the Brushy Creek Marlins and is a former President of the Meadows HOA. From 1996 to 2001 Cris was a crossing Guard for Brushy Creek and Great Oaks Elementary Schools. |
